Apeiron's 2-step restoriation process revolutionizes terrazzo polishing. Compared to traditional restoration, Apeiron's restoration process drastically reduces labor and product costs by cutting the required steps to hone and polish down to just two. Simply strip existing coatings and hone using Apeiron's Scratch Removal Disk II, and polish using Apeiron's Wet Polish. Finish up by sealing your floor with Apeiron's incredible Impregnator Seal to protect your floor from stains and discoloration, keeping it like-new.
Prefer a more the more classic traditional restoration of terrazzo? Hone and polish by going through your traditional grits using Apeiron's Terrazzo Diamond Disks. Consider applying Apeiron's Impregnator Seal after traditional polishing to prevent stains and discoloration.

Step 1 - Honing with SRDII
1) Thoroughly strip the floor to remove surface coating.
2) Hone the surface with Apeiron's Scratch Removal Discs II and water.
Honing process times:
30 seconds per square foot
3) Wet vacuum to remove the slurry residue. Damp mop rinse with Apeiron's Stone Wash and vacuum again.
Step 2 - Polishing with Wet Polish
1) Pour 1 oz. of Apeiron's Wet Polish and 4 oz. of water directly onto the floor.
2) Buff 16 sq. ft. with Apeiron's Dia-Poly FP Pad. Keep mixture wet at all times.
Polishing process times:
30 seconds per square foot
3) Wet vacuum to remove the slurry residue. Damp mop rinse with Apeiron's Stone Wash and vacuum again.
Step 3 - Sealing with Impregnator Seal Concentrate
1) Thoroughly wash, rinse, and dry the floor. The floor must be completely dry before sealing.
2) Dilute 1qt. of Impregnator Seal Concentrate with 3 qt. of water to make one ready-to-use gallon.
3) After mixing, apply a very thin layer of Apeiron's Impregnator Seal Concentrate using a flat mop applicator and allow to dry 15-30 minutes.
4) Using a low-speed or high-speed floor machine, buff or burnish any remaining residue using Apeiron's Dia-Poly DMP Pad.
Hone and polish by going through your traditional grits using Apeiron's Terrazzo Diamond Disks.

Step 1 - Honing with Terrazzo Diamond Disks
1) Thoroughly strip the floor to remove surface coating.
2) Hone the surface with Apeiron's Terrazzo Diamond Disks and water.
Start with 120 grit diamond disks.
Honing process times:
1 minute per square foot
3) Wet vacuum to remove the slurry residue. Damp mop rinse with Apeiron's Stone Wash and vacuum again.
4) Continue to move upwards through the grits up to and including 400 grit for comprehensive honing.
Step 2 - Polishing with Terrazzo Diamond Disks
1) Thoroughly strip the floor to remove surface coating.
2) Polish the surface with Apeiron's Terrazzo Diamond Disks and water.
Start with 600 grit diamond disks.
Polishinging process times:
1 minute per square foot
3) Wet vacuum to remove the slurry residue. Damp mop rinse with Apeiron's Stone Wash and vacuum again.
4) Continue to move upwards through the grits up to and including 3500 or 8500 grit for comprehensive polishing.
Step 3 - Sealing with Impregnator Seal Concentrate
1) Thoroughly wash, rinse, and dry the floor. The floor must be completely dry before sealing.
2) Dilute 1qt. of Impregnator Seal Concentrate with 3 qt. of water to make one ready-to-use gallon.
3) After mixing, apply a very thin layer of Apeiron's Impregnator Seal Concentrate using a flat mop applicator and allow to dry 15-30 minutes.
4) Using a low-speed or high-speed floor machine, buff or burnish any remaining residue using Apeiron's Dia-Poly DMP Pad.
Lippage is the difference in height between tiles. Often times when a floor is not laid down properly, or over the course of time, tiles are shifted to different heights, causing a lot of problems for restoring and maintaining your floor.
Trying to maintain or restore floors with a lot of lippage can cause damage to the equipment used or the tiles themselves. To avoid such damages, it is recommened to take down, or remove, lippage, creating a uniform height between all tiles. This makes all restoration and maintenance safer and more effective.
Lippage removal is very similar to Apeiron's 2-step restoration process or traditional restoration. Before starting either restoration method, use Apeiron's Hybrid Diamond Disks to hone at a lower grit than is required for floors without lippage. These unique disks provide extra abrasion and smooth scratch-patterns due to the special material out of which they are made.

Step 1 - Lippage Removal with Hybrid Diamond Disks
1) Thoroughly strip the floor to remove surface coating.
2) Hone the surface with Apeiron's Hybrid Diamond Disks and water.
Start with 30 grit hybrid disks.
Honing process times:
1 minute per square foot
3) Wet vacuum to remove the slurry residue. Damp mop rinse with Apeiron's Stone Wash and vacuum again.
4) Continue to move upwards through the grits up to and including 100 or 200 grit for comprehensive lippage removal.
